About The Position

Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN
location, you will be a member of a collaborative product development group. You
will have the opportunity to lead and coordinate activities with global
technical teams to develop wireless infrastructure products and software
applications that industrial customers use around the world.

Requirements

• BS Engineering or related technical discipline
• Minimum 6-8 years related experience
• Willingness to occasionally meet with global team members on off hours
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• PMI certification
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Azure Dev Ops
• Experience leading engineering project teams that developed new products
• Engineering experience designing new products
• Experience using Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
• Knowledge and use of NPD phase gate process
• Experience working with international teams
• Demonstrated use of Microsoft Applications (Word, PP, Excel)
• Excellent facilitation and persuasion skills
• Excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Effectively coordinate team activities and provide leadership to the project team.
• Be responsible for delivering on the overall scope, objectives, schedule, and budget of the project and ensuring that customer and company quality requirements are satisfied.
• Identify, prioritize, and mitigate project rists and work with the team to create mitigation strategies
• Ensure team performance by leading, mentoring, training, motivating, and celebrating.
• Provide timely communication to stakeholders that include project updates and gate review presentations
• Participate in process improvement teams
