The people here at Apple don't just create products - they create the kind of wonder that's revolutionized entire industries! It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. At Apple, we aim to leave the world better than we found it. The Regulatory Compliance Engineering team manages and executes diverse engineering programs and projects, each with their own unique sets of challenges. We are focused on new regulations in Europe and elsewhere, such as the Digital Markets Act, Data Act, AI Act, and others. Designing solutions and delivering them typically requires working with expert teams across software engineering, data, business, infrastructure, operations, security, legal, privacy, and others. Apple teams that are needed to solve these problems are spread throughout the company, so it's imperative to be an expert at building and growing relationships. This role requires strong technical expertise in data related domains such as data products and data management, and a proven ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive complex data related initiatives. While goals & requirements are often driven by regulations, it's unlikely that a project/program in our portfolio has a preset playbook. You must be comfortable operating independently in new and unfamiliar domains, quickly building competence in new regulations to inform your work. Success requires breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces, leveraging experts and owners, and adapting as we learn more. Teams expect us to provide clear direction, collaborate to design solutions that are forward-thinking, help drive decisions, and deliver compliance outcomes for Apple.
