As a Senior Engineering Program Manager, you’ll partner with engineering teams to design and deliver solutions to enhance the experiences of caregivers across Providence. You will define and shape user‑centric designs, data strategies, build pipelines, manage data warehouses, and ensure high-quality data availability. This role will bridge business needs with technical infrastructure, requiring data engineering skills and the ability to manage complex, long-term technical projects. You’ll collaborate closely with business and IS partners, turn caregiver insights into meaningful features, drive adoption through smart lifecycle tools, and champion quality with pride and ownership. You’ll navigate complexity with confidence—leading programs, managing risks, aligning teams, and keeping delivery on track—while advocating for continuous improvement across engineering processes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 5 or more years of related experience
  • Strong program and project experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • Experience in a Healthcare environment
  • 5 or more years of experience leading large-scale data transformation, governance, or data platform initiatives in complex environments
  • Skilled in driving data-driven insights and analytics solutions—framing business problems, defining analytical questions, identifying and sourcing the right data, evaluating data models and design options
  • Proven owner of end-to-end data and analytics programs, including scoping large-scale initiatives, defining success metrics, managing roadmaps, timelines, dependencies, and risks across complex data ecosystems.
  • Consistently drives on-time delivery in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Strong technical fluency in modern data and analytics architectures, including data platforms, ingestion pipelines, data modeling, analytics engineering, and governance. Able to partner deeply with engineers and architects, identify data-level and feature-level dependencies, participate in design and technical reviews, define release criteria, and champion data quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and partnership skills to work effectively with engineering, business leaders, IS organizations, caregivers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communicator and cross-functional partner, able to work effectively with data engineering, analytics, product, business leaders, IS organizations, vendors, and external stakeholders. Able to translate customer needs into actionable plans and drive adoption through lifecycle tools and content.
