Apple is seeking an engineering program manager to lead the iCloud Edge Services portfolio as part of the Apple Services Engineering (ASE) organization. We are looking for passionate, motivated individuals looking to contribute to the development and execution of the extraordinary services and infrastructure that power Apple's products and bring the iCloud experience closer to the user. You will partner with teams and vendors whose mission is to build, maintain, and improve the platform and product layer of Apple's most critical cloud services at scale. Your work will focus on services, features, quality, reliability, scalability, privacy and security technologies that make up the iCloud Edge Services and includes Privacy Platform and Gateway Services. We influence and partner in defining and implementing standard processes that improve our operational and privacy efficiency as well as play a key role in the evolution of the next generation of private cloud compute and device connectivity for Apple. Our work is integral through the entire software stack so you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of engineering teams. You are technically curious and a functional expert autonomously lead multiple projects and tracks of works of varying scale and complexity with cross-functional and geographically dispersed development teams with only consultative direction from leadership. This is not a task-based job; we are accountable for delivering secure and performant systems. We partner with engineering leaders and teams as you will influence and drive software delivery.

  • Lead the iCloud Edge Services portfolio within the Apple Services Engineering organization.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of services and infrastructure for Apple's products.
  • Partner with teams and vendors to build, maintain, and improve critical cloud services.
  • Focus on services, features, quality, reliability, scalability, privacy, and security technologies.
  • Define and implement standard processes to improve operational and privacy efficiency.
  • Play a key role in the evolution of private cloud compute and device connectivity.
  • Work with a variety of engineering teams across the software stack.
  • Autonomously lead multiple projects and tracks of work with cross-functional teams.
  • Influence and drive software delivery in partnership with engineering leaders.
  • Experience in Privacy Platform and Gateway Services.
  • Knowledge of OHTTP and Private Access Tokens.
  • Experience with Testing Automation.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Ability to work with geographically dispersed development teams.
