How you will make an impact You’ll join the Engineering Operations team to help Iterable scale the Platform with greater reliability, predictability, and speed. You’ll identify high-leverage areas to improve how we build and operate software, then drive the programs, processes, and lightweight tooling that make execution more consistent across teams. Your work will strengthen quality and reliability practices, improve developer experience, and increase visibility into engineering health—so teams can ship critical work with fewer surprises. Requirements

  • Experience leading cross-functional programs within an engineering organization, partnering effectively with Engineering, Product, Security and other stakeholders
  • A track record of using AI to improve personal and team productivity, and strong judgment about where automation adds value vs. where rigor is required.
  • Strong program management fundamentals: planning, coordinating, dependency/risk management, and driving delivery through ambiguity
  • Experience with the software lifecycle and operating practices
  • Strong technical judgment and fluency: able to understand system architecture, APIs, and operational tradeoffs well enough to drive decisions, ask the right questions, and unblock teams
  • Comfort using data and tooling to drive visibility and decisions (Sigma or similar BI tools)
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with programming languages, such as SQL and Python
  • Experience with FinOps

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering leaders and teams to identify priorities and translate them into clear program plans and deliverables
  • Lead cross-team initiatives that improve platform scalability and predictability (e.g., Incident Management frameworks, Error Budget Policies, API maturity practices, engineering health visibility)
  • Define and track success metrics, measure outcomes, and continuously iterate programs based on data and feedback
  • Communicate clearly and consistently by providing regular updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to stakeholders at all levels
  • Audit existing processes and implement improvements that reduce friction and increase consistency
  • Collaborate beyond Engineering (Product, GTM, Support/CS) to execute effective rollouts and drive adoption
