About The Position

In this role, you will be a visionary leader, driving innovation in integrated aerospace displays, airborne computing, avionics, and optical systems. You'll work at the forefront of the industry, mentoring a team of experts and solving complex engineering challenges.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A successful track record of leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to manage technical, cost, and schedule performance on complex development and sustaining programs.
  • Technical knowledge in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, systems, software or test).
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience with industry standards (e.g., ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO-254) and export regulations (ITAR).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the design, development, and testing of next-generation aerospace products.
  • Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality, cost-effective, and robust solutions that meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate our business strategy and technology roadmap into actionable goals for your team.
  • Implement best practices to improve engineering efficiency and streamline our New Product Development (NPD) process.
  • Collaborate with other business units and senior leadership to align on product development and production support.
  • Ensure your engineers have the resources and support needed to thrive.
  • Guide your team through complex challenges.
  • Perform special projects/tasks as assigned.
