Requirements

  • 2+ years of Software Engineering Management experience.
  • 7+ years working in the Software industry.
  • Experience with scaling or mature B2B/consumer software and familiarity with SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, governance and compliance, security and permissions, and localization.
  • Experience in developing people and teams, including performance management and coaching.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to navigate difficult conversations.

  • Ability to drive technical excellence through collaboration.
  • Experience in building and maintaining highly scalable and reliable software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage teams that create impactful and revolutionary software.
  • Conduct weekly or bi-monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports.
  • Provide feedback, mentor/coach team members, and help them grow.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews and provide feedback to other managers.
  • Guide team members through the promotion process and create performance improvement plans.
  • Assist with customer escalations and drive urgency in resolving customer issues.
  • Lead department initiatives and improve management team effectiveness.
  • Drive accountability and ownership within the team.
  • Execute on delivering value to customers by managing expectations and timelines.
