The Work The Networks and Enterprise Services (NES) Engineering Manager serves as a senior systems‑engineer leader responsible for technical planning, system integration, verification & validation, and cost‑risk analyses across the full life‑cycle of missile‑defense‑related IT and communications systems. This role designs, develops, and analyzes computer‑based solutions that translate customer requirements into complete hardware and software architectures while maintaining schedule and cost constraints. The manager leads multidisciplinary teams, drives Earned Value Management compliance, champions Agile processes, manages product backlogs, develops KPIs, and provides technical mentorship. Responsibilities also include risk assessment, status reporting, proposal support, product‑release approvals, and coordination of internal and external dependencies, all while acting as the primary technical spokesperson to senior leadership, program managers, and customers.
