  • Partner with product managers to translate business and compliance needs into scalable platform solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement modern data engineering platforms, frameworks, and tools that accelerate adoption and self-service.
  • Guide data model design across graph-based and relational architectures to support both operational and analytical use cases.
  • Monitor, optimize, and scale platform services to meet high availability and performance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as FedRAMP, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Mentor and grow engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Advocate for graph database technologies and event-driven approaches across the company, including with executives and product leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience, with 3-4 years leading engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, site reliability, or platform engineering.
  • Deep expertise in graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune), including schema design, optimization, and implementation.
  • Track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Experience building event-driven architectures and streaming data pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis, or equivalent).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience evangelizing and driving adoption of new technologies across an engineering organization.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, health savings account, flexible spending accounts (medical, limited purpose, dependent care, commuter benefit accounts).
