About The Position

Apple Services Engineering (ASE) is the team behind high-profile services such as the App Store, Apple iCloud, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and more. Our Analytics and Data Engineering team is looking for a world-class Engineering Manager to lead our Core Content Engagement Data team. This team is responsible for building scalable and robust data processing applications, powering content engagement data feeds across multiple Apple Services lines of business. These processes are critical for providing accurate and timely insights that drive product development, marketing strategies, royalty payouts and overall business growth. As an engineering leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data processing strategy and empowering a group of highly skilled engineers to innovate in this space. Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Experience leading engineering projects from inception to shipped software through several iterations and release cycles.
• Hands-on experience architecting and designing large-scale data processing applications.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, especially in cross-functional settings.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with big data technologies, especially real-time stream processing with Apache Flink, Kafka, and Cassandra.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
• Experience with SQL as well as analytics and reporting tools.
• Experience delivering AIML engineering projects, especially in the GenAI space.
• A passion for mentoring and developing engineers.
