As a Senior Engineering Manager in the Continuous Build & Integration organization within Software & Services Engineering, you will lead teams that develop the platforms and pipelines that power developer productivity and integrate and deliver in‑vehicle software (e.g., ECUs, domain controllers, infotainment, ADAS). Our work advances GM’s vision of a world with zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion by enabling safer, faster, and more reliable software delivery across the product portfolio What You’ll Do Lead an engineering organization responsible for core developer workflows, CI/CD, and integration of in‑vehicle software components, with clear SLOs/SLIs and incident response practices. Elevate developer experience by reducing build times, increasing repeatability, improving observability, and streamlining onboarding and tooling ergonomics. Define and execute the technical roadmap for integrating in‑vehicle software, aligning with component owners and partner teams. Mentor managers and senior ICs; establish clear goals, measurable outcomes, and growth paths while fostering a culture of ownership, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Communicate strategy, investment tradeoffs, and outcomes to technical and executive stakeholders; ensure clarity of vision, measurable results (e.g., lead time, change failure rate, MTTR), and dependable execution.
