About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience developing production-grade, scalable software systems in engineering or technical leadership roles.
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Strong technical background in machine learning technologies, including at least 7+ years of experience working with ML systems, preferably using Python.
• Expertise in designing and deploying secure, scalable AI/ML platform architectures and production ML systems.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), orchestration tools, and MLOps practices.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience aligning teams across engineering, product, and research functions.
• Familiarity with current AI/ML research trends and the ability to translate new innovations into practical applications.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineering talent and build strong, engaged teams.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics and insights to guide engineering decisions and prioritize initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of machine learning engineers by recruiting, mentoring, and supporting their professional development.
• Provide strong technical leadership, guiding the design and implementation of scalable AI/ML solutions and engineering architectures.
• Develop and execute technical roadmaps that align AI/ML initiatives with broader business goals and strategic priorities.
• Oversee the delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and performance across systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineering leaders to deliver impactful solutions.
