Strong knowledge of data modeling, pipeline automation, and cloud-based data platforms.

Responsibilities

Designs and develops ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse source systems into data warehouses or data lakes.
Analyzes source data, defines data mapping, and creates technical specifications for ETL jobs.
Implements data quality checks, validation rules, and error handling within ETL workflows.
Optimizes ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Works with data architects and business analysts to understand requirements and design robust data integration solutions.
Schedules, monitors, and troubleshoots ETL jobs to ensure timely data availability.
Creates and maintains documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and dependencies.
Provides metrics and status updates on ETL operations and data pipeline performance.
Participates in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to align ETL development with agile processes.
Mentors junior ETL developers and shares best practices in data integration and automation.
