Senior Project Engineer applies advanced civil engineering principles and practices to projects of varying complexity and specialty across all engineering disciplines. The Senior Project Engineer supports teams in high-level designs and quality control reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality construction documentation, specifications, and design solutions.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 6+ years of professional services consulting experience in engineering design supporting land development and/ or, site-civil development, transportation, water/wastewater projects.
  • Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in industry standard software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related design software, plus Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong organization skills and exceptional attention to detail is expected.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed to support clients, projects, and project team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and participate in the execution of design tasks for civil infrastructure/site development projects, focusing on public and private sector developments
  • Work directly with a project team to assist with the completion of construction documents and related activities
  • Civil engineering design, including site layout, roadway layout, site grading and drainage, utility sizing and layout, storm water management design, including design of retention/detention facilities
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
