Senior Project Engineer applies advanced civil engineering principles and practices to projects of varying complexity and specialty across all engineering disciplines. The Senior Project Engineer supports teams in high-level designs and quality control reviews, ensuring the delivery of high-quality construction documentation, specifications, and design solutions.

Requirements

B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
6+ years of professional services consulting experience in engineering design supporting land development and/ or, site-civil development, transportation, water/wastewater projects.
Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in industry standard software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related design software, plus Microsoft Excel and Word.
Strong organization skills and exceptional attention to detail is expected.
Must be willing to travel as needed to support clients, projects, and project team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Assist and participate in the execution of design tasks for civil infrastructure/site development projects, focusing on public and private sector developments
Work directly with a project team to assist with the completion of construction documents and related activities
Civil engineering design, including site layout, roadway layout, site grading and drainage, utility sizing and layout, storm water management design, including design of retention/detention facilities
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
