About The Position

We are looking for a bright, ambitious, and qualified individual, with at least five years of experience, who can: Perform stress analyses to solve and report on complex issues related to design, life assessment, and root cause failure analyses. Contribute to advanced testing including the assessment of the physical structure and behavior of metals\materials. Perform heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and structural stress analyses of pressure vessels, piping systems, rotating equipment, bridges and other structures using classical and finite element analyses methods (e.g., ANSYS, LS-DYNA, SAP, and others). Work with industry codes and standards for the design and analyses of structures and systems. Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, minimum, in mechanical, metallurgical, or structural engineering
5+ years of experience.
Strong written and verbal communications skills, with efficient use of Microsoft products.
Ability to pass background and drug screenings to obtain security clearances at a commercial nuclear plant.
Ability to travel to customer or project sites, which may include weekends.

Nice To Haves

Pursuit of a Professional Engineer license is preferred.
