Venturi, LLC, a Chenega Company, has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Engineer who will provide technical ground and radar site support to the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Engineering Lead. This Engineer will work at an advanced level on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract.

Requirements

• MS degree in STEM and 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project.
• Possess technical understanding and experience with missile defense or radar systems
• Active Secret clearance
• Prior experience within Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
• Have a working knowledge of the THAAD weapon system
• Demonstrate proficiency in system engineering and execution processes
• Can work in a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, subcontractor, and supporting contractor personnel
• Able to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
• Operate as a self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment, and work across organizational boundaries
• Develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel; demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Work independently and/or lead teams to analyze and resolve problems.
• Have familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or THAAD Program Office work efforts
• Show proficiency in system engineering and execution processes.
• Possess proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide systems and interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance regarding the THAAD weapon system with international partners
• Assist the Engineering Lead with managing the technical aspects of all assigned force design work
• Collaborate and coordinate on force design technical efforts with multiple external agencies and stakeholders
• Identify deficiencies and shortcomings in planned or ongoing design reviews and provide options for fixing them
• Document and communicate interim and final technical findings and results in a clear manner understandable to senior-level decision makers
• Perform other duties as assigned
