About The Position

Oracle Hyperion Essbase Developer Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Primary Skil: Hyperion Essbase Development Secondary: SQL Experience: Minimum 6 years Roles & Responsibilities Bachelor's degree in finance, Information Systems or related field. 6+ years of experience with Oracle Essbase and Hyperion Planning Proficient in designing and maintaining multidimensional databases and business rules Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes Experience with Smart view, data integration and automation tools Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills Design, develop, and maintain Essbase cubes and Hyperion Planning applications Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather requirements and implement planning, budgeting, and forecasting solutions. Optimize Essbase calculations, data loads and reporting for performance and accuracy Manage metadata, business rules and security within Hyperion Planning Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Essbase and Hyperion Planning environments Provide end-user support, training and documentation for planning and reporting processes Participate in upgrades, migrations and integration projects involving EPM systems Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or other Oracle EPM modules. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. MaxL, SQL) and integration with ERP systems Experience in managing GL data work flows and actuals/forecasting/planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Information Systems or related field.
