Duties: Under general direction of the Supervising Engineer, Water Resources, this position serves as the leader of a diverse unit of engineers and support staff within the Traditional Delivery Section that prepares a wide variety of construction contracts for advertisement, award, and execution, as well as supports DWR's CADD program. Other duties include reviewing and analyzing engineering drawings and contract specifications for biddability and constructability, developing and maintaining guide specification, receiving and responding to both written and verbal questions from potential bidders, schedule and conduct site inspections trips-traveling to a job site by airplane or automobile with the possibility of overnight stay may be required.
