About The Position

As our new Senior Engineer, you will join a team dedicated to working with clients to deliver a wide range of water-related projects, from preliminary studies through design and construction and will work alongside our engineers, scientists, and resiliency planners, including collaborating with our global team of experienced professionals, to develop sustainable solutions to help urban and rural communities address the impacts of climate change and water infrastructure needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 8+ years of qualifying engineering experience in the engineering/design field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, NYS preferred.
• Deep knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with the ability to guide others.
• Proficiency in understanding hydraulic and hydrologic model results and utilizing the information.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to a variety of water resources projects including site planning and design, water distribution and storage, sanitary and storm sewer conveyance, combined sewer overflow control, stormwater management and green infrastructure, and flood resiliency, floodplain restoration, and flood control.
• Lead field investigations, alternatives analysis, technical reports, and designs to deliver high quality work products and contract documents.
• Mentor and coach early career engineers to enhance their technical and project execution skills.
• Support business development and branding activities, including client presentations, conference and technical association participation, and supporting written proposals and interview presentations.
