About The Position

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Administration of ESXi servers and VMware environments Manage Windows Server systems and perform basic Linux administration tasks. Perform racking/mounting of servers and network devices; run structured cabling (network/fiber). Decommission of servers. Deep hardware knowledge of Dell, HPE, and Lenovo servers; experienced in assembling/disassembling components. Strong knowledge on server hardware break fix operations and troubleshooting. Roles & Responsibilities Execute firmware and service pack updates; troubleshoot related issues. Configure and maintain KVM switches for remote access and control. Set up and troubleshoot ILO, iDRAC, and BMC interfaces for out-of-band management. Perform CPU upgrades and manual firmware updates as needed. Configure and troubleshoot basic networking components including VLANs and trunk ports. Configure and troubleshoot DNS/DHCP services and resolve related issues. Troubleshoot PXE boot issues and manage virtual media imaging processes. Storage server deployments and perform basic configuration tasks. Also providing remote support to storage teams on storage server and FC switch configurations. Hands-on experience in managing data center environments with a focus on uptime and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical challenges. Generic Managerial Skills, If any Flexible and eager to learn emerging technologies and tools.
