The Senior Engineer, Site Reliability is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly reliable infrastructure systems. As a key contributor, you will partner with developers to drive architecture decisions, ensure high system availability for our globally utilized SaaS products, and serve as the last line of support for our critical services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an Ops, DevOps, or SRE role.
• Experience administering Cloud Computing Services such as AWS, including working knowledge of IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, and SSO.
• Engineer-level experience with networking, security concepts, and load balancing technologies (Layer 7 preferred).
• Experience provisioning and using enterprise monitoring ecosystems (e.g., DataDog, Prometheus) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Fluency in reading Java, Python, Bash/Zsh, HCL, and Javascript.
• Ability to participate in a weekly on-call rotation.

Nice To Haves

• Specialized skills, knowledge, or experience within the Hospitality technology industry.
• Experience with containers and container orchestration tools such as ECS/EKS.
• Relevant experience with security compliance certifications such as SOC2.

Responsibilities

• Optimize infrastructure solutions to facilitate the seamless migration of critical systems while ensuring uptime and a high-quality experience for end users.
• Improve and maintain tools to efficiently manage and operate SaaS products hosted on AWS, emphasizing scalability and robust automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and developers to enhance the reliability, performance, and security of server and application architectures.
• Audit and secure critical infrastructure components by addressing vulnerabilities proactively and implementing cybersecurity best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex on-call incidents to rapidly resolve issues and minimize service disruption for our global customers.
• Facilitate and participate in detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes to identify underlying issues and implement long-term preventative measures.
• Adapt and learn to integrate AI tools into daily DevOps and SRE workflows.
• Resolve infrastructure provisioning challenges using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and configuration management toolsets like Chef.
• Perform other related duties as needed to support team and company priorities.
