About the position

Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide field support to technical operations.
  • Coordination and tracking by receiving, responding to or causing responses to PFRs and field inquiries.
  • Providing a focal communications point between field facilities, field engineering, manufacturing, engineering and logistics support to resolve all field problems.
  • Document the change authority associated with each PFR such as Investigation Request (IR), Software Investigation Request (SIR), LIRs, FB, Change Notices and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • Coordinate Patriot Field Bulletins and the disseminating of information to designated Raytheon personnel and to Government Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) for official distribution to field personnel.
  • Review PFR documentation and identify the issues and concerns presented from field personnel.
  • Provide management and technical oversight of the PFR/FBs being processed through the system.
  • Understand and be capable of operating Microsoft Office products.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Patriot Product Line and associated Major End Items with a general understanding of Life Cycle Engineering.
  • Experience with reviewing and understanding Technical Data Packages including but not limited to general understanding of Product Data Management (PDM).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
