About The Position

Our site in Colorado Springs, CO. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineering Business Partner to serve as a strategic individual contributor within our global Quality Engineering (QE) organization. This cross-functional role spans multiple plants and product lines, interfacing with internal stakeholders and customers to drive quality excellence across the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement to ensure product and process reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, product lifecycle management, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
  • Experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, DOE, Lean, Six Sigma, ISO standards).
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • International experience is desirable.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support global operations and customer engagements.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as ASQ CQE, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a global manufacturing or Semiconductor environment.
  • Familiarity with NPI/NPD processes and customer-facing quality roles.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze key cross-plants processes, multiple quality metrics to track product and process performance and identify areas for improvement, including setting short and long-term objectives and goals.
  • Execute cross-plant standardization of similar processes to manage process/product reliability and provide consistency of quality to our customers.
  • Conduct BKM (Best Known Method) practice to proactively collaborate with the NPD (New Product Development) team to identify critical to quality (CTQ) elements to ensure NPI (New Product Introduction) and HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) are able to successfully release to production to ensure well-maintained quality reliability and supply stability.
  • Oversee the planning, execution and results of internal quality process audits to drive opportunity for improvement and standardization for similar cross-plant processes and product families.
  • Identify and drive CIT (Continuous Improvement Team) to satisfy service level and total quality performance through the facilitation of the internal audit system.
  • Design and track training efficiency to ensure employee skillsets enhancement to support the management and control of product and process.
  • Work in partnership with Quality Engineering/ Product Management/ Engineering/ Operations teams to ensure that quality standards are reliably integrated into product/process lifecycle and are consistent with other plants that have similar process and product lines.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including test plans, reports and defect tracking records.
  • Be well organized with appropriate delegation skills to provide business partnership, efficient training, and development opportunities to teams to enhance skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at varying levels and varying degrees of complexity across a vast range of products, regions and companies (customers and suppliers).
  • Business travel to conduct/coordinate/support presentation of NPI/QN, PCN, and internal or external quality audit.

  • Compensation: $91,000-$114,000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
