About The Position

The Quality Engineering (QE) role is dynamic and cross-functional. This new QE will interact at multiple levels and with multiple contact points within the Customer, Entegris, and Supplier organizations. This role is high impact, high output and high visibility. It requires a calm-assertive demeanor and the capability to manage multiple ever-changing priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electric/Electronic Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Experience in a quality, process, equipment or materials engineering role.
  • Experience managing issues and projects between internal stakeholders and customers with experience in escalation preferred.
  • Project management experience with a focus on closing gaps between company capabilities and customer needs preferred.
  • Experience with applicable quality tools such as pareto, FMEA’s, SPC/SQC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, design of experiments, cause and effect diagrams, 8D problem solving methodology preferred.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours and alternate work shifts to balance workload across a North America, Europe and Asia scope of responsibility.
  • Experience working and communicating between North America-based manufacturing facilities and Asia based support teams and customers preferred.
  • Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Engage as guided with customers, sales teams and factory/product/supply chain/quality teams.
  • Execute QE responsibilities as defined by the QE Policy documents, Entegris business processes, account specific support plan and as led by QE management.
  • Support our Advanced Purity Solutions in Billerica, MA.
  • Participate in varying levels of engagement with customers and company teams on Problem Solving, Change Management, Customer and Internal Audits, Project Development, Product Support and Development Programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at varying levels and varying degrees of complexity across a vast range of products, regions and companies.
  • Demonstrate excellence in planning, execution, discipline, learning, leadership, and teamwork.
  • Provide support for various documentation expectations such as business process documents, item tracking, performance reporting and continuous improvement project management.
