About The Position
Pinellas County has an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead an outstanding team of engineers and project managers in the development of transportation improvements. Types of improvements include roadway widening, reconstruction, and resurfacing, intersection improvements, trails, sidewalk and others as necessary. This position will lead a team of 5 engineers and project managers and assist in the development of the County's transportation program. The position requires a motivated and collaborative engineer with effective communication skills, and a passion for serving the community by ensuring safe and efficient movement of the County's citizens, visitors, and businesses. This position will also work alongside another senior transportation engineer to effectively manage the Transportation Section's projects, budgets, programs, and staff. Join our APWA-accredited Public Works team in serving Pinellas County through the management of Capital Improvement projects.
