  • Solid working knowledge of GD&T principles.
  • Experience with PLM tools, ideally PTC Windchill.
  • Deep understanding of automotive and consumer-electronics connection systems.
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to drive the CAD documentation process end-to-end—from design and release through fabrication, installation, schedule coordination, and change management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work proactively across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel or Google Docs/Sheets.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to support production schedules and team priorities.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects and timelines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience with a proven ability to apply engineering principles in real-world applications.

  • Generate detailed 2D drawings (detail, section, assembly) following drafting standards and GD&T best practices.
  • Support product development, sustainment initiatives, and internal department projects.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and technicians to ensure engineering documents and drawings are complete, accurate, and consistent.
  • Perform drawing checks and manage engineering change orders (ECO/CO), including BOM updates and routing.
  • Manage file structures, metadata, references, and overall CAD data organization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CAD-related issues across the organization.
