About the role: As an Senior Engineer, Platform Services you will be the primary contact for IT support, providing first and second-level assistance for hardware, software, and network issues. You will manage local IT incidents and service requests, ensuring resolution while configuring desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Working with global IT teams, you will support system upgrades, patch management, and the deployment of new technologies. Additionally, you will monitor IT infrastructure, escalate critical issues, and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and asset inventory. You will report to the Manager, Windows & Platform Services and be located at the Columbia, SC Facility. This is a hybrid role. Relocation is not available for the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Active Directory, remote support tools, Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM
  • Virtual desktop deployments

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Be the local contact for IT incidents and service requests, ensuring resolution.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to support system upgrades, patch management, and deployment of new technologies.
  • Monitor IT equipment and infrastructure, escalating critical issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and asset inventory.
  • Support local and remote users with excellent customer service and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security procedures.
  • Help with onboarding/offboarding of employees, including account setups and equipment provisioning.
  • Be an important contributor in projects, audits, and disaster recovery planning/testing.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.
