About The Position

The position involves contributions to new development for current software tools, database work including queries, stored procedures, tables, and views, as well as fab support. The role requires executing updates to ShermanData configuration communicated in Engineering Change Order (ECO) requests and maintaining production software. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate and lead upgrade and re-platforming efforts of existing software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or another engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
• 5-10 years of relevant experience
• A self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and short deadlines
• Ability to excel in cross-organizational, cross-cultural, global team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Deep knowledge of relational database concepts and especially Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated proficiency in C# / .NET / Python software programming environment
• Demonstrated experience with subversion and/or code repositories such as Tortoise SVN, Git, or Microsoft Team Foundation Server
• Proficiency with NI LabVIEW (current or expired certification)
• Understanding of semiconductor chip manufacturing process
