About The Position

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our growing team focused on electric vehicle (EV) charging technologies. In this role, you will support the development, validation, and verification of EV charging systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and compliance standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of sustainable transportation. What You'll Be Doing: Assist in the design and execution of test plans for EV charging hardware and software systems. Set up and maintain test environments including power electronics, communication interfaces (OCPP, ISO 15118), and vehicle simulators. Perform functional, regression, and stress testing on EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment). Document test procedures, results, and anomalies in a clear and organized manner. Collaborate with design, firmware, and systems engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Support compliance testing for industry standards (e.g., UL, IEC, SAE). Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and automation frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a testing or validation role.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power analyzers.
  • Basic understanding of EV charging protocols and power systems is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for test automation is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge about EV charging system and technology in term of Hardware and system.
  • Knowledge about mixed signal design (electrical point of view)
  • Knowledge about Product level testing (end to end)

Nice To Haves

  • Design the embedded product like EV charger or similar high power
  • Knowledge about component level testing , system level testing and product level testing
  • Knowledge about pre-compliance and certification testing
  • Knowledge about test automation and scripts.
  • Exposure to EVSE or automotive systems testing.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, or Ethernet.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
