About The Position

AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. seeks Senior Engineer I in Tampa, FL: Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope. Perform preliminary engineering design and/or review the design and drafting work of junior engineers, designers, or drafters. Work with external clients at progress meetings and throughout projects to meet client needs, project schedules, goals, and deadlines. Prepare cost and man-hour estimates, job budgets and schedules. Perform quality control and guidance of junior staff related to hydrologic/hydraulic models or methods. Prepare or oversee the preparation of final plans and reports and submits them for approval. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental) and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Knowledge of: Hydrology and hydraulics, data processing, and GIS; ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM, StormCAD, and AutoCAD; and, the performance of storm drain computations.
  • U.S. Professional Engineering License required.
  • May be assigned to unanticipated work locations throughout the United States.
  • Relocation to an area within reasonable commuting distance of the job location is required.
