About The Position

Challenge different disciplines (electrical, mechanical and software) on technical aspects. You are the overall technical lead throughout the different development phases, from proof of concept to mass production readiness. In this role you will be able to define the architecture of the system based on ideas and possibilities from the market in collaboration with Product Managers. Transforming concepts into actual project plans.

Requirements

Above 5 years of experience in R&D or Product Engineering, Semiconductor equipment experience preferred
Wide-ranging experience with mechanical and mathematical modeling tools (Visual Basic, MS Excel, MATLAB, Python, Mathcad)
Wide-ranging hands-on experience – test set-up, troubleshooting, design of experiments, lab equipment, etc. (for example using test equipment such as laser displacement, thermal sensor, accelerometers)
Experience working with vendors and sub-contractors
Bachelor/ Master/ PhD’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent, master or above is preferred
Good written and verbal communication, interpretation and interpersonal skills
Flexible to changes in tasks and work environment
Must be organized, systematic, punctual, and goal-oriented
Strong leadership skill with ability to work with cross functional teams
Willing to travel on a need basis

Nice To Haves

Experience with solid modeling CAD software is preferred

Responsibilities

Creates new projects from a broad and multidisciplinary architectural viewpoint
Conceptualizing the required components
Oversees the entire system aspects and manages unavoidable “tradeoffs”
Delivers a complete and complex framework, system or product
Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility
Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes
Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses
Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives
Creates the installation manuals of the module and supports issue troubleshooting for new installation
Support on tasks as: o part failure analysis & generate report. o machine setup and system level testing.
