About The Position

At Slate, we’re building safe, reliable vehicles that people can afford, personalize and love—and doing it here in the USA as part of our commitment to reindustrialization. The spirit of DIY and customization runs throughout every element of a Slate, because people should have control over how their trucks look, feel, and represent them. The Senior Engineer, HIL Validation will execute the Hardware-In-The-Loop (HIL) testing for vehicle propulsion, electrical, and software architectures. This Engineer will develop, implement, and validate the real-time models of the electrical and software designs. The Engineer will work closely with the Software, Electrical, and Propulsion teams to build the HIL Bench and create a correlated Digital Twin. The Engineer will generate test cases and analyze results to ensure program requirements are met.
