The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting simulations to understand and predict product behavior under different loading conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • 6-15 years experience performing finite elements analysis
  • Strong understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis
  • Proficiency in using simulation software such as ANSYS, NX
  • Ability to interpret and present simulation results effectively
  • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace industry knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FEA simulations on various mechanical components and systems
  • Build, develop and implement simulation models and algorithms
  • Analyze and interpret simulation results to support design decisions
  • Post-process results to determine if products meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that simulations accurately reflect product behavior
  • Create presentations and present for internal and external reviews
  • Mentor and help train entry-level engineers
  • Keep up-to-date with latest industry developments and emerging simulation technologies.
