About The Position
GEICO is seeking Finance Data specialists to support the build out of a Finance Data Warehouse/Lake by partnering with both Finance and Technology teams to redesign the way they use their technologies in managing GEICO's business. This individual must have strong functional and technical Finance Systems background to partner with the Business ensuring effective discussions to drive the capture, transformation, and utilization of Finance data to meet Business goals. The Senior Engineer, Finance Data Specialist will report to the Senior Manager of Finance Technologies and provide solutions to build out, maintain, and support a Finance Data repository to support FP&A processing and analytics while also supporting the larger Finance organization's need for Finance data. The Finance Data Specialist will work with multiple Finance and Technology leaders to support the building out the company's Finance Data Warehouse/Lake to provide a central repository for all Financial related transactions so it can be a reconciled source of truth for processing and the source for Revenue and Expense analytics.
