About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Engineer Energy - Remote. This remote position is based out of our Oak Ridge, TN office. Requirements

  • Requires a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.
  • Requires 10+ years of engineering experience.
  • Possess license P.E.
  • Must be able to travel to project site to attend business meetings as required by the project.
  • Full knowledge of engineering theories and principles.
  • Ability to interpret codes, regulations, and practices.
  • Knowledge of various computer applications, with the ability to manipulate data and personal computer applications.
  • Equally effective working independently or in a team environment.
  • Proven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to process information quickly and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dedication to achieving milestones.
  • Positive, optimistic, team player and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand a wide variety of topics and ensure all work items are produced with the highest quality.
  • Demonstrate high integrity, safety, professionalism, and appropriate behavior driven results.

Responsibilities

  • Specifies technical and quality requirements to support acceptance of materials and services that support nuclear plant operations.
  • Exercises independent judgement and decision-making in planning, organizing and conducting work assignments.
  • Develops technical and quality assurance specifications in support of purchasing nuclear plant materials and services.
  • May support the development of commercial grade dedication plans for acceptance testing and inspection of commercial grade products.
  • Performs evaluations of alternate replacement items to meet system and component design basis requirements.
  • Serves as the Technical Specialist in support of quality assurance audits and surveys at vendor's facilities.
  • Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
