There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.

The position involves ensuring the accurate implementation and management of EMS databases, including SCADA, FEP, and ICCP, for both existing and new field installations. This requires close collaboration with operations technicians, engineers, and System Coordinators to maintain a highly reliable 24/7 control center. The role includes configuring and managing EMS databases, displays, alarms, and real-time calculations to provide situational awareness to operations. Additionally, the position entails evaluating and resolving complex control system problems that may involve hardware, software, networks, control system algorithms, and communication subsystems such as front-end processors, ICCP, RTUs, and PLCs. The successful candidate will develop and implement code to streamline decision-making in the control room, working closely with operators and engineers to ensure grid reliability. They will also be responsible for validating field inputs through the SCADA database and operational displays, ensuring that all configurations are accurate and up-to-date. This includes building, updating, and configuring databases for SCADA/EMS applications, as well as modifying configurations to the Quality Assurance System (QAS) or production environment. The role requires maintaining accurate data exchange with FRCC and neighboring utilities, overseeing contractors for major system projects, and verifying field telemetry and alarms. Collaboration with other engineering teams is essential to incorporate remote data requirements for capital and system improvement projects into the Monarch EMS/SCADA system. The candidate will also develop processes and procedures to ensure system integrity and compliance with NERC CIP and Reliability standards, lead strategic project planning, and assist in drafting engineering specifications and reviewing bid documents. In addition, the position involves leading troubleshooting efforts on EMS systems, participating in acceptance testing of real-time control systems, and supporting EMS training and simulation environments. The candidate will identify trends and root causes of issues, investigate solutions, and perform NERC Compliance Program roles as designated. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
