About The Position

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and testing electrical circuit boards used in Infusion Systems products. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical design and a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Cadence/Orcad, Altium, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 60601-1).
  • Project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of digital and analog electrical circuits and systems.
  • Experience with modern microprocessors and microcontrollers like ARM architectures.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced engineering projects with guidance from engineering management.
  • Demonstrate expertise in electrical engineering, particularly in microprocessor-based circuit board designs.
  • Design, troubleshoot, and verify signal integrity of digital interfaces like USB, SPI, I2C, SMBus, LVDS, MIPI, SDIO, I2S, etc.
  • Analyze, plan, and complete complex projects, developing creative solutions and integrating subsystems such as wireless communications (Wifi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc), sensors (pressure, air-in-line, motor positioning, etc.), motors, and user interface devices (displays, haptics, speakers, etc.)
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams that include Software, Systems, Mechanical, and Manufacturing engineers.
  • Support the development of manufacturing test fixtures and implement test automation using tools like Python.
  • Perform root cause analysis for issues observed during development, manufacturing, and in fielded devices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure product availability and address end-of-life concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for electrical components, product safety, and EMC performance.
