About The Position

The Senior Engineer - Electrical at Haskell Company is responsible for overseeing project designs, client communications, and construction administration. This role includes supervising team members, managing project budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with design requirements and codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE).
• 10+ years of electrical design experience.
• Revit experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security.
• Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements.
• Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission.
• Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals.
• Provide coaching/mentoring of assigned staff.
