This is a full-time role with a salary range of $162,552.00 - $163,200.00 per year. The role involves architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient big data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time analytics frameworks to process battery data. The engineer will translate business objectives into functional specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure data quality, and stay updated with emerging trends in data engineering.

  • Translate business objectives and requirements into functional specifications on data pipelines.
  • Manage and coordinate deliverables to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and implement data solutions.
  • Identify and implement appropriate data storage and retrieval solutions based on business needs.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy through data validation, cleansing, and transformation techniques.
  • Monitor and optimize data infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolution.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data engineering and continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our data infrastructure, tools, and processes.
  • Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or closely related technical discipline (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Three (3) years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining big data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time analytics frameworks.
  • Demonstrated Expertise (DE) in programming languages including Python or Scala.
  • DE in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
  • DE with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, and Snowflake) and related services (e.g., S3, EC2, Sagemaker, Redshift, and BigQuery).
  • DE working with data integration tools, big data frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka, Spark, Airflow, and Perfect), and database technologies including SQL and NoSQL.
  • DE with version control systems, including GitHub, and containerization technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
