Independently determines and develops approaches to a variety of technical problems of large scope and complexity. Builds productive internal and external working relationships and may periodically provide guidance and train other team members. Provide operational excellence support for operations, ensuring that all activities are completed with all the operational needs and capabilities. Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications. Will support to equipment based on right-sized-equipment, lean concepts, analysis of specifications, reliability, and regulatory requirements. Work with quality engineers to develop testing and inspection process from an lean mindset.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in the industry
  • 2+ years experience managing kaizen events, problem solving, projects or process improvements initiatives, or leadership experience and/or substantial engineering support or project management experience in a team-based environment is required.
  • B.S in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstration on Six Sigma and Lean Enterprise tools to work on improvement, problem solving (DMAIC, PDCA, A3, 8D, etc), CI culture transformation and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge in lean and six sigma concepts and tools
  • Strong knowledge in project management concepts and tools.
  • Fully bilingual (English & Spanish).
