At Leica Biosystems in Vista, CA, we engineer and manufacture Digital pathology scanners, which are high precision and automated electro-mechanical instruments for high resolution scanning of pathological samples. Our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. The Senior Engineer, AI Software you will play a key role in the software development, integration, releasing and performance of AI-driven digital pathology solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Deep Learning scientists, software developers, and product teams to design and implement robust development strategies. This role emphasizes code development, bug fixing, unit and system testing, integration, and releasing in a regulated environment. You will act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
