About The Position

Advancio is building a new AI-driven product and delivery studio focused on the insurance industry. You will be the first engineering leader within our DevStudio, responsible for delivering AI/ML and digital transformation projects while building the team, processes, and technical foundation of our new product and services division. This role blends hands-on engineering, architecture, and early leadership. You will work directly with the CEO and have influence over the direction of our tech, product, and delivery strategy.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years engineering experience (software, data, or AI/ML)
• Strong architecture fundamentals (cloud, APIs, integrations, data flows)
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools, LLM integration, or automation work
• Experience working in delivery, consultancy, or project-based environments
• Process-oriented mindset with strong attention to execution
• Excellent communicator who can talk to both engineers and clients

Nice To Haves

• Insurance industry experience (claims, underwriting, MGA/MGU, carrier)
• Experience in digital transformation or enterprise modernization
• Prior leadership experience (tech lead, team lead, or similar)
• Startup, consultancy, or ex-FAANG pedigree (or equivalent quality)
