A Day in the Life of a Senior Energy Engineer at Hanson Here’s a snapshot of what you would do in this role: Lead and support energy-related projects including Energy Roadmaps, Energy Audits and Assessments, Carbon Studies, and Retro-Commissioning. Assist Business Development Manager with customer relationships and business development in energy, sustainability, and resiliency markets. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for energy reduction and decarbonization efforts. Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to execute energy projects. Lead meetings and create presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Stay current on energy regulations and technologies, applying innovative solutions to meet compliance and performance goals. Track project performance and provide regular updates to clients and senior management. Support Hanson Project Managers with schedule, budget, billing, and earned value processes. Support Hanson Discipline Manager with the supervision and empowerment technical personnel to meet HR standards, foster resource redundancy, and ensure consistent performance. Conduct training sessions and workshops on energy management strategies. Author technical articles or present at industry conferences. Other duties as assigned. Ability to travel up to 30%.
