About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer develops and optimizes business processes to ensure the successful submission and reconciliation of encounter data for Medicaid and Medicare programs. You will ensure that all submissions exceed compliance standards through rigorous data analysis, quality assurance, and the development of tools to enhance encounter acceptance rates. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer finds opportunities for long-term improvement of submission processes, collaborates with partners to integrate new and improved workflows, and provides solutions to complex data and process challenges. You will lead by example and partners with peers to enhance data visibility, quality, and accuracy. Work hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm EST. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer ensures the integrity of organizational data. You will analyze complex data challenges, assesses situations critically, and use available resources to create scalable, and resilient code and dashboards. As a member of the Encounter Submission organization, the Senior Business Intelligence Engineer meaningfully contributes to supporting compliance and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a variety of processes and solutions, including Python scripts, SQL queries, Databricks notebooks, Azure DevOps pipelines, Power BI dashboards, and process automations. Support partners by addressing data issues, performing root cause analysis, and proposing applicable resolutions. Present clear, applicable insights to both internal and external partners. Improve data processes and advocates for innovation in data management practices. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting with complex datasets.
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience developing scalable Python code.
  • 3+ years of experience building applicable dashboards.
  • Experience working with complex datasets within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines that require exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a high degree of curiosity.
  • History of contributing to organizations focused on the continuous improvement of consumer experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a technical field.
  • Demonstrated experience with analytics and reporting using Python, R, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Prior knowledge of EDI formats such as X12, 834, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278, and 999.
  • Experience using version control tools such as Git or similar platforms.
