About The Position

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. We are seeking a hands-on Embedded Software Engineer to join a small, multidisciplinary product team developing miniaturized sensor and processing systems for aerospace and defense applications. This role is for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of low-level embedded software, custom hardware, and real-world integration testing. You will work closely with firmware, electrical, and mechanical engineers to bring advanced sensor systems from concept through lab validation and field testing. If you’re an engineer who wants to work hands-on with hardware, solve complex integration challenges, and see your embedded code drive real sensors in the field — this is where software meets mission. This position will be on-site at our Burnsville, MN location.
