The Test Solutions Engineering (TSE) team at Micron plays a critical role in the development, validation, and optimization of test programs for Micron’s memory products, including NAND, mNAND, and DRAM devices! Collaborate with a world-class team to build and support custom semiconductor testers from the ground up! What’s Encouraged Daily: Craft new and modify existing equipment in cross-discipline design teams (software, electrical, control, and mechanical engineers). Develop documentation for your designs, modify, test, and debug kernel modules and drivers. Develop code in C, C++, Bash, and Python on bare metal and under RHEL-compatible Linux distros in containers. Manufacture and support equipment in collaboration with New Product Introduction, Field Service, and Operation teams. Innovate and keep Micron driven by providing outstanding solutions that no one else has addressed. Support and improve existing designs, responding to manufacturing and production needs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in embedded software collaborating with hardware along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in embedded software collaborating with hardware
  • Proficiency in C and C++ with a comprehension of analog circuitry
  • Familiarity with lab equipment, schematic, and PCB layout
  • Knowledge of PCIe and Linux kernel/module/driver
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash, Linux and GNU toolchain

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with schematics and PCB layout
  • Knowledge of collaboratively working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, SMUs
  • Proficiency in PCIe/NVMe and Linux kernel/module/driver and Linux storage devices
