Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Part-time Senior Engineering Technician to join our team! In this role you will get to support a multidisciplinary engineering team at the forefront of innovation, fabricating and assembling cutting-edge electronics systems.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required
10+ years experience in miniature electronics/mechanical packaging production
10+ years experience in test equipment repair and calibration
2+ years experience in microelectronics fabrication and assembly

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree or higher desired

Responsibilities

Use drawings, schematics, datasheets, and assembly documentation to develop, prototype, manufacture, and produce a wide variety of electronics products
Perform hand soldering operations on fine-pitch and complex parts
Design, build, and/or modify electronic/mechanical parts and assemblies, manufacture fixtures for the construction of parts/assemblies
Troubleshoot and repair products, instruments, or equipment with electronic and/or mechanical problems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc. and report information back to engineers
Manufacture RF and data signal cables and antennas to optimize performance
Assess and perform risk mitigation activities
Communicate status to team leads and work within tight deadlines
