About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) sees a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. Position Responsibilities: Provide design, analysis, and review of Power Electronics and Analog Electronics. Contribute to Internal Research and Development (IRAD) of products, solutions and systems. Lead and support technical improvement of existing products and components. Set standard operational and technical tasks subject to instructions and work routines utilizing reasonable latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete tasks and duties based on changing work situations. Create company technology development strategies. Develop, design, and conduct research that results in new product offerings or business opportunities. This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Requirements

• 10+ years of related work experience.
• Analog power electronics experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
