Immediate opportunity available for a Senior Electronic Technician III. The successful candidate will act as the lead technician, contributing to maintenance and installation teams responsible for federal security infrastructure. Analyze systems operations and test results to ensure proper systems operation and determine maintenance requirements beyond standard solutions. Implement and supervise sophisticated SQL database management protocols for security platforms, including custom query development for system optimization. Resolve complex SQL database issues including connectivity problems, permission conflicts, database corruption, and user group authentication errors. Analyze systems operations and test results to identify unusual technical anomalies requiring advanced solutions. Execute advanced troubleshooting procedures for Hirsch Electronics Velocity systems, including resolving complex database connectivity issues between Velocity and Microsoft. SQL Server Develop specialized "Truncate" commands in Velocity to prevent system overload from runaway alarms while preserving table structure integrity. Identify and document system malfunctions, implement corrections, and advise on system abnormalities that impact future design considerations. Perform comprehensive TIA/EIA-568 compliant cable testing, documentation, and termination for fiber, Cat-6, Cat-5, RG-6, RG-59, and RS-485 Configure and maintain advanced access control systems including Hirsch/Identiv, AMAG, Lenel, and Software House.
