Develops technical and operational conclusions and write technical reports that meet sponsor requirements.
Plans and participates in MIL-STD 461 testing at the Naval Ordnance Transient Electromagnetic Simulator (NOTES) test facility.
Plan and participate in EMP testing for Low Level Continuous Wave (LLCW) technology demonstration; perform data acquisition and analysis; refine LLCW Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
Twelve (12) years of demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to one or more of the following, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Naval Architecture.
Seven (7) years of experience in Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP); Electronic Environmental Effects (E3); Electromagnetic Interference (EMI); Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC); E3 Computation and Modeling.
Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
Experience in Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) engineering, research, test and evaluation.
Demonstrated experience developing and validating Electromagnetic (EM) survivability requirements for electrical/electronic systems, mechnical systems, interconnects and structures.
Demonstrated experience testing at a variety of EMC / EMP test facilities / capabilities including Mode Stirred chamber, Horizontally Polarized, Vertically Polarized and Bounded Wave simulators.
Demonstrated ability to collect test data, conduct detailed analysis, provide risk to mission analysis and dependency analysis, develop technical and operational conclusions, and write technical reports that meet Sponsor requirements.
